Atiba Wade is a multifaceted professional known for his contributions to swimming, coaching, and stunt performance. A former NCAA All-American swimmer at the University of Georgia, Wade has also competed in two U.S. Olympic Trials. His expertise extends into fitness, coaching, and community service.
As the founder of H2GO Fitness, Wade emphasizes fitness and swimming instruction. Among his many coaching and leadership accomplishments, Atiba served as a lead swim coach for Team Army’s Recovery Care Program, working with wounded warriors to aid in their physical and mental recovery. His role in these programs demonstrates his innovative coaching methods and commitment to helping others overcome challenges .
Wade is also a world class swim camp clinician where he shares his extensive knowledge of swimming techniques and fitness training with aspiring athletes. Additionally, he has coached Team USA swimmers in the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style event, helping his athletes secure numerous gold medals .
Outside of swimming, Wade has ventured into stunt performance, notably working on films like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. His background in gymnastics, swimming, and bodyweight strength training prepared him for demanding underwater stunt work .
